This is probably my favourite puzzle game of all I've played, and I've played a lot. There's a few that I really really liked, but if you ask me for only a single suggestion, this is it. And I have suggested it many times indeed.

The concept is so unique, the subtle humour perfectly matches the game's vibe, and the mechanics make for a really interesting and mind-bending experience. Being a programmer surely helps with understanding the game's quirky concepts but is in no way a requirement and you can enjoy it anyway. If you like your brain being fried a little in the process that is :)
