The game has a great tone and atmosphere. I wound up feeling like I wanted to know more about the games story by the end, in both a positive and negative way.
The guns range from feeling weak to feeling pretty good. Unfortunately the best gun in the game (zebra gun) can be purchased before the first enemy encounter. Without needing to manage ammo at all, there's no reason to use any other weapon, it simply provides the best damage output (though I did quite like the shotgun.)
I wish there were more ranged enemies and that the ranged enemies weren't the toughest thing in the game. The fact they fire immediately upon seeing you and can be found at choke points like doors makes dealing with them tough in an un-fun way sometimes. Weaker ranged enemies paired with stronger melee enemies would likely lead to more varied encounters with more target prioritization.
Really cool game overall, hoping to see it get some polishing since it did glitch on me a few times. (Namely interactables not working and starting a new run after completing the game once softlocked me in the intro. Fixed with a restart of the game.)
