A downloadable demo for Windows.

You did an absolute beautiful job here, but I can't agree with others saying that this is the scariest game of 2025.

I always get scared easily, but I wasn't really scared on this one. I think it was simply because I could see who I was facing... I also knew the house layout from other games as well lol. The map also wasn't that dark, so the fear just didn't come to me.

I do love the idea in general, and I think you can make this game truly scary, so here's some feedback and ideas I think you could add in the game:

First of all, I think you should decrease the camera effect of Margo... You can see her, but I can't see where exactly she is most of the time. The effect is either making her surroundings really dark, or the FOV(?) messed up the lights. Either decrease it or add some strong lights around the stairs, so we know she's coming up. I had no problems seeing her going down, so that's great.

Her AI is... Really bad. This game turned out more of an annoying hide-and-seek instead of a horror game. She always camps around that motion detector, and the problem is, that thing is quite useful so I had to leave it on. I think the easiest thing here is to add a controller that we can use to make some noise downstairs, this way we can move around more.

I know this can be abused, but make it only activable if the player stays hidden way too long. Something around 2-4 minutes should be good.

Here's some ideas I think it would be cool to see in the game.

- If she stays too much in the first or second floor, she could activate a random event. The event would either be of her laughing for 5 seconds before rushing to your location screaming, or simply breaking the facecam signal, and then she would giggle when walking around the house looking for you.

- Other random event idea would be that she knows where you are hidden. There could be a 1% or even 2% chance of her smiling while looking at where you are. It would be interesting to see her crouch and look below the bed or other difficult places while smiling as well.

- There could be a chance of a paranormal even happening if you stay too much doing nothing. Where everything would turn on (TV, radio, etc) and off like lights and stuff. Seeing some items float would be interesting.

- Hearing random voices would be interesting. Something like a weak hi or get out would be spoopy. Writings on the wall with blood as well, why not?

You know why I'm saying all this? The game is really bland for now, you NEED to give a personality to the game, and I think making random events and adding more simple-ish stuff to the game would make it look more unique and stand out a LOT more than now.

I love the idea, so I hope the full game has a lot of content and is more scary/unique. Good luck!

P.S - Oh! It would be poggers if you could add a option where we can choose where her camera can stay, that would really help. Her camera should disappear when she jumpscare us also.
