One of those games I just can't ever shake all the way out of my head. Just a wonderful encapsulation of everything that I love about RPGs. I adore the weird setting, the writing, the way each room is its own thing. I love the number of non-combat challenges and how they make you feel like you're exploring a real place rather than a glorified arena. And when you are fighting, I love the bizarre enemies and the power curve that emphasizes how much stronger you're getting even over the relatively short course of the game. I'm not sure I could write a review that's useful to anyone else, because this game really feels like it was made just for me.
