This was the first journaling-style Solo RPG I played, and it was a perfect introduction. I was not prepared for just how emotional a story this would turn out to be (although my character was a lot more jaded about his second pilot after becoming far too attached to his first one.) All the prompts were thought provoking and the dice tower (although I had to be slightly creative since I stream games from my no-room-to-hold-a-dice-tower computer desk) does make a perfect representation of a Mech slowly falling apart under the weight of combat.
