Simply but nice. Excellent art, good Pokemon battle simulator (attacks lag the game out, though), and that's after the game had to be completely redone so as to avoid the ire of Nintendo.
Since the redo, some characters actually have stories, complete with emotional beats. Rare in this industry, and always welcome.
As great as this game is, it has to be one of the slowest to update, and the least amount of content added each time. In v0.27, several months' wait, to get two singular battles, three frames of a sex scene, several lines of dialogue, and three backgrounds drawn. That would take a matter of hours, stretched over a few days, not several months. Charging monthly Patreon fees for that is insane.
On top of that, most updates are spent avoiding advancing the story, in favour of adding yet another character directly ripped from somewhere. 2B, Peach, Samus Aran, whatever. Nice to have, but when you wait many months for more story, and all you get is a single battle with one character that has zero relevance whatsoever, the game gets progressively more diluted with side content. Yandere Simulator did just that (among bigger issues), and that collapsed.
All in all, it's a fun game with gorgeous art, that the developer desperately needs to stay focused on. If they do so, it will easily be worth supporting.
