Gameplay is really simple, obviously, but in this case it works well because of the unique and playful/engaging art style. Also, bonus points for being brave enough to draw that incredibly edgy gore alternative.

That sounds a bit like a read, but given that this is a 5-star review I hope it's obvious that it's not; I genuinely think people are afraid to be really egregiously gory for fear of seeming immature and edgy [a la old creepypasta "hyper-realistic blood"], but this is a case in which it's done well.

Or maybe I'm just weak for a pastel coloured guy juxtaposed with brutal eye-gouging. Maybe that. Maybe I think it's better than it is because it appeals to a very specific niche that includes me.

Anyway enough rambling. 5 stars. The one drawback is I get bored clicking but that doesn't affect the rating because its just a personal thing about my feelings towards the genre and says nothing bad about your prowess as a developer.
