I honestly never liked games that ended like yours did. For some reason, it almost feels like 'what was the point of it all' when it's not just a bad ending (IE: characters die as they try and escape, etc) but it was just a lackluster one. There was nothing indicating that it WAS a bad ending until the epilogue. We don't even see what happened to the MC at all. Disappointing, but I still think the game was short and sweet up until that point.
