Probably the best VN I've played with displaying how a friend group interacts with one another. This has extremely strong writing and is a story-rich. The horror isn't really there as of right now, it's probably in there for less than five minutes for a VN that takes 5+ hours to get through it's current content.

I laughed when MC is watching the real news appeared and you'd made it funny. Most other authors would try to insert their real-life opinions on the matter, but this author's take is refreshing by being subverting it and poking fun at people's reactions.
THE REVEAL FOR the end of ACT 0.1 was brilliant. I hope Negamei appears canonically in the story.
For Act 0.2, if you have Japanese phrases disabled, it'll still use em. The phrase "Sou ka" still appears.
After reaching the current end where you see Negamei in the pool, I was a bit disappointed how characters acted in Act 0.2. Everyone kinda brushes over the ending of Act 0.1, nobody acts scared or paranoid or worried, things go back to normal too quick. You would think at least MC would investigate or research what he saw.
The description on itch says, "Make the choice to save them or aid the evil in its quest for ruin or misery". Currently, there's really no meaningful choices in the game, you either get to be a jerk to everyone (and lock out content) or be nice and get to see content. On my second playthrough, I decided to be as evil as possible and was disappointed the player's choices currently present don't really cause any meaningful changes. You still end up at the same outcome, there are no alternatives. Hopefully, this gets developed more or after the story branches out after the "good" route which the game seems to be set to. With how the way characters are, I think the devs will find it difficult for MC to cause "evil things" to befall the cast.
My initial impression before I played was thinking that MC would be able to change characters based on the advice he gives them. Maybe MC says something and a character X doesn't hang out with Y much and more with Z as they try to change based on MC's advice. And based on the MC's advice or actions, that can impact the characters positively or negatively and change inter-personal relationships between them.
The Sandbox elements aren't annoying and the way it implements save you so much time. I wish all other sandbox elements in VN would take notes on this game.
