I'm obsessed with this book. I love your other work too, but this is my favorite by far. As a robot fucker, Ratna was shockingly representative of how I feel. I know others have said that that one was the most horror to them, but to me it was a mirror of how I would feel and likely act in that world. As much as she denies agency or humanity of the robot, she treats it with the most understanding of how Mari-ko functions. As much as she fucks the robot only for her own pleasure, she is the only one who doesn't focus solely on her own pleasure. She cares about the robot in a way that the other owners we saw interact with it do not. Gnawing on this entire book like a rabid dog btw
