There's a lot of stuff that this game does right, and a lot that it does wrong. The visuals and sounds are pretty good, and while the level designs have a few irritating points, they're mostly okay. The character customizations in particular are pretty well varied. The story is yet another "this is what I think is wrong with the world" and gets really tiring at points, and the dialog ranges from okay to painfully unfunny. The gameplay is mostly okay, but has several issues. The biggest of these is that it's surprisingly easy to bail, to the point that at least once I fell from just traveling straight across flat ground. This wouldn't be so bad on its own, but with the "fancy" system this becomes an annoying issue when trying to complete challenges. Other than that, the "air ollie" mechanic is frequently an issue, since the easiest way to move forward is to hold the "A" button, and the transfer button seems to mostly be regarded as a suggestion. All in all, it seems inspired by old Tony Hawk games, but the ways in which it differs only really brings it down.
