I don't usually play visual novels, and I have to admit that when I opened up this game for the first time I went in with the intention of playing this as a joke, but as the game progressed it became harder to see it as one. The characters feel real and relatable despite them not being human, the dialogue is out of this world and really shows how good writing can make a good game into a great one. The pacing works really well, no conversation outstayed it's welcome and I never saw myself being confronted with something I didn't want to read. The music can't be beaten either. Really changed my perspective on some things as well so thank you for that. now the only other vn I have played is the kfc dating sim so maybe this is just the level of quality to expect from vn's that take themselves seriously, but I'm glad that this is the game that introduced me to the serious ones.
