it's nice to see a game that is able to adapt dark souls design sensibilities beyond just the combat, the willingness to let players make poor choices with the tools they are given is very appreciated and encourages them to think before using their resources, enemies always dropping useful items gives great incentive to fight them, same with tying progression items to certain enemies. both the level design and art direction are very inspired and look amazing. the combat feels great and the animation work is very well telegraphed.
the only bad thing to say is some of the transitional frames are a bit janky, as well as some of the hitboxes, but overall really enjoyed it, thank you for posting this demo :3
