I absolutely ADORE this game! I'm a fan of the Southern Reach books as well as the movie that was adapted from them, Annihilation, and so to combine a solo rpg DRAWING game with an Area X vibe, uh, YES PLEASE. The mechanics are simple and brilliant and provide many gameplays of invention and fun, as you push the envelope to see how long you can endure the EZ while you observe the beautiful, exotic, eerie and alien flora and fauna. I had so much fun with this!

One suggestion I would make for this game would that to add an extra layer of gameplay mechanics. The EZ map is divided into different sectors, and within Sector 6 you are always guaranteed to make a plant discovery. This doesn't give any incentive to explore the other sectors of the map at all. So, I think there needs to be something that gets the player to move around the EZ.
