A little clunky in places, and I wish there was a dedicated skip control (though you can of course still skip read text by holding the ctrl key), but overall a fun little experience.

I would have liked the choices in the game to be at least a little bit meaningful though :(

Picking different characters to talk to changes which private conversations you have, and once you reach the branching point where you pick a route, they are each slightly different storylines (though with a LOT of overlap that unfortunately still counts as new text, which makes skipping bits you have read before, more annoying), but any dialogue options you choose will only change two or three lines of flavor text directly after, and then nothing else about your conversation, or any future conversations you have. Even with just one ending per character, it would have been nice if it felt like the choices you made actually had some kind of effect.

Still, I liked the characters more than I thought I would going in, and spent a lot of my time smiling because they WERE fun to interact with, and watch interact with each other. And you can tell this was a project put together by people having fun with what they were making, which I always appreciate!
