PreggoEnjoyer rated Unexpected

A browser game made in HTML5.

I struggle with rating this one a little bit. On the one hand, the image and model quality is pretty good for a visual novel. The Pregnancy theme was also there, albeit a little thin on its inclusion for my tastes, almost entirely focusing on talking about impregnation and the risk of it (which is just as valid/part of pregnancy as anything else tbf).

But on the other hand, it does feel as though it falls a little short on executing its concept fully for the purpose of a game jam.

Great potential but it is essentially a prologue with no progression at all. If I look at it purely on its own merits as a proof of concept, I'm happy and excited, looking forward to more. Outside of a gamejam, I'd be thrilled to see this.

But unless I'm under severe misconceptions of what game jam admissions should be, there's not much of a game to be found, yet. Instead of a, more or less, completed vision of a short and sweet game concept, it is the beginning/incomplete vision of an eventually full game with a dev cycle of likely multiple years.
