SPOILERS I just kept seeing me and my fiance, kept making choices I would make myself if I were in mc's shoes, if my fiance died and came back Im so soft that just even having the comfort of a doppelganger that looks like him would be a blessing even if it spelled my demise just to have him back in my arms for a moment just one more hug one more moment to hear his voice, it also helped that the doppelganger in the end seemed truthful and wasn't aggressive. the ending was painful yet sadly wholesome in the way that even though they dont know they still wish and yearn for something better I cant Vile's stories play my heart stings like a violin with a somber bittersweet tune
