Characters, Setting & Story: So far I don't have a complaint. I like the characters. Aleesha and Nills so far are my favorites and I'm excited to see what stories they tell. I can't tell what kind of stories Baxter and Thomas will tell, so that rouses my curiosity.
Can't complain about the setting. Realistic vibes, interactions.
The story itself was like pringles. Couldn't stop reading / listening. It genuinely felt like I was being narrated something. The end of the story was the cherry on top. It's refreshing to see the "shit it's outside my door" finale trope done this well after so many creepypastas cheapened it for me.
Audio: Title screen music was exciting. Ending music I would say was the perfect vibe to help ride the vibe wave of the horror story. The sound effects, their usage and quality fit in very well. I'm a big fan of good audio design and this felt like a love letter to my ears. Chef's kiss, I'd give this department 6 stars if I could.
Art & backgrounds: Simple sprites and color coding fit the vibe of this type of visual novel. It was also surprising to see how there's a talking animation that changes based on the character's expressions. The backgrounds work really nice especially for the story part. I was trying to keep an eye out to see if there was any surprises or eyes hidden in the darkness.
Overall: Wonderful work for a first build. I can tell there's a lot of passion in it. Good food
