This is such a detailed, well-written, invocative, and imaginative solo journaling TTRPG game!!! At a whopping 226 pages for the base game alone, the author has clearly put so much thought and care into building this game. The foundational charter at the start of the game not only helps you set up the world, but also directs you to 1 of 4 appendices, that drastically alter the vibe, direction, and possibilities of your gameplay, allowing for so much replayability. The vibes of this game are immaculate: blending sinister horror with cozy archivist work and elegant dark academia. There are charts-galore in this game and plenty of structure. The author has also created "roadmaps" so that you can really understand how the core gameplay loop should run. It's all so amazing and definitely worth the cost for how much game you're getting. I've spent way more on solo TTRPGS that offer much less.

Oh, and did I mention the Codices? The base game is already amazing as-is, but the author of this game is planning on creating a series of expansions for the game throughout the year (The roadmap shows 7 expansions in 2025!) Three are out already: Love and Loathing, Love Beyond the Veil, and The Academic Register. Each adds a new dimension to the game. I haven't played them yet as I'm still enjoying my first "vanilla" run of the base game before adding anything else in, but I've skimmed through them and they look amazing, especially The Academic Register, that just dropped a few days ago, which is LONGER THAN THE BASE GAME. I'll post separate reviews of those when I get to them, but I just wanted to mention them because there's so much more coming to the game. 

I think that this game would appeal to fans of Tangled Blessings (for the obvious dark academia connection) and also to fans of Apothecaria (for the detailed, cozy settings with tons of charts and expansion options.) This game just came out a few months ago and the passion that the dev/writer has shown for this series already is so amazing that I just have to shout it from the rooftops, even though I haven't even finished my first playthrough yet! This is one of the first TTRPGS I've tried so far since discovering the genre last month (aside from the aforementioned Tangled Blessings and Apothecaria) and this is the first one to really grip me with a chokehold I still can't escape from. I'm SO hoping for a physical release of this game and the codices someday, so fingers crossed for that.
