I had a long review (like four thousand words) about some of the problems I had with this game (there's some clunk with the controls especially) and also some of the interesting questions I think it brings up about autonomy as a body horror that slowly shifts into what is attempting to be a grand epic.
But itchio is fighting me on it so I'll leave it at this:
I think this was a story with a lot of interesting ideas that you would normally see paced into a sixty hour game, and instead we see it crammed into something closer to a tenth of that, trying to anchor itself with characters that are not given the time or care in introducing them to us to actually earn the ability to anchor a rushed story.
A ton of potential, but it falls flat for me :\
As an art piece though, there is a lot of ideas to chew on, and I will certainly be thinking about it for a while to come.
