TheLonely7 rated Dimension 69

TheLonely7 rated a game 1 year ago
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android.

As of version 0.23

The story is okay, nothing new or to bland I guess.  The grammar is great only 1-5 typos/misspellings. The scenes are decent, fair about of clipping with the usual, body, hair, clothes, etc.  The scenes do feature animation and sound.  Game has music.

No real need for a walkthrough for this game, every choice is very simple and the in-game quest log is enough to get everything. However there does seem to be a  "correct" order for triggering events, as the characters seem to constantly reference things that haven't happened yet if done out of order...

Overall I rate the game a 3/5. The constant referencing of events that hadn't happened in the story yet really makes me wonder why this game was even a sandbox in the first place. There is clearly a order in how one should advance through the quests so that the narrative makes sense, making it sandbox just ruins it. The story is also pretty flimsy in the first place so the sandbox features just shines a spotlight on that fact. Definitely a case of shooting oneself in the foot, also some of the characters I just straight up didn't like so there was that as well.
