I am obsessed with this game. It has consumed my brain. I watched a ten hour long deep dive into The King in Yellow and spent the entire time thinking about Le'Garde. I am strongly considering getting into Beserk because of this game. I watched so many people play this game before trying it myself, because I am not good at gaming and this game is notoriously punishing, and still managed to die to the dogs I knew were coming. Phenomenal experience. It feels so cohesive and thoughtful, even with the RPG Maker weirdness and bugs.
This game is so atmospheric and engrossing. I especially love how even the good endings make it clear that the character's experience in the dungeon has changed them; it feels so appropriate for a game as punishing and grim as this one can be.
