Holy guacamole, this was a trip.
For starters, not bad idea. I can see how this could've turned out if even more work was put into it. I like it, I like how everything is random and that it is challenging,
BUT
there are many bugs :(
Some are game breaking, such as player being stuck inside walls and enemy corpse blocking way in tight corridors.
Weapon variety is a smart idea and it worked, but weapons don't really feel powerful. I really liked that rapid red laser weapon but its really annoying to hear gun fire on left ear only.
I don't know if this was left accidentaly ( I guess you used this to test your player health or something ) , but hitting M or N on keyboard damages or heals player, which breaks the game.
About graphics, I like old school games, so I don't mind having simple models or textures, but oversimplefying everything doesn't cut it either. Everything just looks and feels the same, all textures and ambient lighting are bland, it just doesn't make that space station / futuristic base type of atmoshpere.
One more thing, which is actually just my recommendation, is that you could make that "run to the elevator after hacking" thing a bit more intense. Yes, lights turn off and some intense music starts, but that is it. Besides limiting player's vision and adding some track, more things could be added, such as new types of enemies, a countdown timer or something similiar so that player actually has some sense of urgency when running for that elevator.
And that ending was just silly xD I appreciate little bit of humor and/or irony in that ending.
I hope this review helped you in some way.
Ps. I know that this was made in 1 month, quality is totaly understandable, but if you want to ever go back to this project and upgrade it or update it in any way, I would love to check it out :)
