Top notch writing, quality, and game systems!  It's a sandbox with some quest lines as well as stories that gradually unfold from the choices you make, how the NPCs treat you as a result, and random events.   I've spent an embarrassing number of hours exploring and grinding content in this game; still excited to play every update!
