it felt cathartic to play, and the ramp up of apotheosis when you unlock them is what really fuels that. the hollow feeling i get dealing with the events is similar to the one i feel being so intensely othered my entire life. being able to deal with issues with such a finality of being able to rise so far above them satisfies the part in my brain that yearns to tear everything and everyone that dares hurt me and those i love down to the nothingness that they put me to.
