Excellent introductory module, I played it with 5 players: 3 with no prior Mothership experience and me only GMing it for the second time.
It went really well, and I would definitely run it again as an introductory session because of its calm initial phase investigating the living quarters. It helped ramp up the tension without requiring quick-thinking from the players.
I had decided that all 4 living quarters were unlocked when the generator was off which in hindsight meant they had examined them all well before they got the generator working, so the door lock-cycle didn't get to shine.
In future I would have one of the bedrooms unlocked in low-power mode and then cycle through them normally when the generator is brought online.
