Gorgeous visual design, streamlined mechanics, and a boatload of customization options make this one of the best Final Fantasy fan-systems ever released. The only thing keeping this from a 5 is a desperate need for a proofreading pass; while much of the Rules As Intended are easy enough to interpret and the system itself seems smooth enough, the actual mechanical presentation is messy, full of typos, and sometimes self-contradicting. Looking forward to seeing the final product!

EDIT: After playing the test release, I've realized "streamlined" is a relative term, as there is a large amount of micro-managing that takes place mid-game between developing scenarios, tracking resources, and calculating things like Extra Effort, with the book providing zero assistance to GMs. While not as overbearing as previous attempts, the system does not function unless you and your players are willing to put everything you have into running it. And God help you if you want to ask the devs for help, as they have repeatedly responded with hostility to simple questions and formatting concerns.
