Fair warning, there is content in this title that is not for the faint of heart. But if you can handle the impressive list of trigger warnings (and zero shame to those who cannot), Fear and Hunger is a world as rich in story and atmosphere as it is in misery. You will die, and you will die a lot. But when you manage to claw your way through the dungeon, you will feel accomplished and drained in equal measures. The game play can be unforgiving at times, and requires a lot of trial and error to become comfortable with, but one you get into the rhythm of it this is a rewarding challenge rife for many many playthroughs. And no playthrough will ever be the same - there are plenty of hidden endings to find and new depths to explore. I've spent countless hours in this game and I don't regret any of it. Truly a unique experience.
