it's hard to describe why i find this game so wonderful, so inspiring. maybe its all the complex intersecting systems. maybe its the way there are multiple ways to solve each problem. maybe it's the flavour text for all the tiles (small, medium, and large boulders are described as being older than every book, every symbol, and every idea, respectively. such inspired writing). maybe it's the diverse range of entities and abilities. maybe it's the world map and main quest that give structure to the game. maybe it's all of these things. but there's something else beyond all of this that has really grabbed me
