A brilliant tactical RPG with heart, NOVA is filled with fast action and satisfying decision making. Its rules are simple and yet deep. While the different Spark abilities might seem like a lot to take in at first, you'll quickly find that you start to figure out how to make the most of them with mods, and that's when the game really opens up. Highly recommend for anyone who loves rich sci fi settings with a vibe of dark but hopeful and fans of tactical RPGs.

My one suggestion is that it might be useful to have a print-friendly version of each Spark's abilities sheet available as part of the support material, as it can be hard to remember what they all do when you're playing and having to consult pdfs. The book is beautifully laid out, but that makes it harder to print abilities out.
