Perception of the dead was my first break in the visual novel genre. I'm very glad it was. Playing a Slough of all sorts of visual novels this one was A Step Above the Rest. For being free it certainly was a high-quality of narrative. The voice acting was very professional, and The writing is extraordinary really good. I love the first person inner thoughts of of the characters. The style of art is simplistic but has a lot of charm to it. Always like that. the cutscenes with the whole ice cream man is very cool. As well that was my favorite story out of 3.   the last note is the music and sound effects really drive the atmosphere and was done well. It definitely made me purchase the Perceptions of the Dead 2.
