Hello there. (Non developer opinion)

To be true, i didn't expect it to be scary, since i could see what the "monsters" would be.

However. 

You did an excellent job on the atmosphere, and this, this made all the difference, the gameplay was really enjoyable and the game made me tense in ways that i felt like i was in some dead space like game, every sound at each corner made me nervous.
