Playfulpetfox rated Churn Churn Revolution

A downloadable game for Windows.

Really nice prototype! Music isn't annoying and the controls are responsive. It's also not too punishing for missing things despite the deluge of oncoming moves. Main issues are lack of anything that actually happens. It's great that the balls move when you hit inputs, but pretty underwhelming that you can't control things after you fail unless you summon more inputs. No dialogue is a shame, but the addition of a finale is nice as well. Given the active nature and the lack of ability to progress with a less...focused approach, it ends up as more of a really nice looking novelty than an """"enjoyable""" experience.

If more is to be added, having some dialogue, more detailed digestion, and more direct input over outcomes would go a long way to making this a genuinely astounding project! Even without any of that, though, it's already a lovely release with stellar art and some fun gameplay!
