Hi, I'll just throw this in the middle for now and move on to Rhen's Quest (which works fine) but I've tried several times now and Ahriman's Prophecy just won't respond to controls. At the opening menu, the only key that will do anything is Alt. Esc, Enter, Space, and the arrow keys do nothing. Once in the game, Alt, C, or X will advance the beginning text and  sometimes when I hit any key, Talia will walk in a random direction until she hits a wall. Esc, X, C, V, B, and N all bring up a Talia's info & stats. If I hit any of those keys again, the menu closes. That's it. I've tried every other key on my keyboard. This is the extent of my controls. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I've tried hitting Alt-Enter (which does work but isn't a game control) and playing in a window. I've noticed though that if I alt tab out, sometimes things happen when I click to return to the window. For example, if I alt-tab on the menu, and click to return, the game presses the bag button on the left. If I hit one of the X, C, etc, it depresses it, then goes back to the game when I press it a second time. I also tried unplugging my XBox controller (Which had similar responses in the game. I think it was the B button that would bring up the menu and close it. That's about it.) with no results. I'm running Windows 11, and I can't recall ever having a problem in any other RPG maker games. (I'm going on the look/feel of the game and a quick search, apologies if it wasn't made in RPG Maker) Anyway, I'm kind of at a loss at this point. I saw there's a reboot/remake being made so I'm following that... but if there's anything you can recommend I'd love to play it in its original form. I've heard a lot of good things about the series.
