The action point system is genius. The fact that it has multiple paths for upgrade and each one is viable is just mind blowing to me. Even beyond that, the action customization is so simple in concept but is wildly effective, interesting, and fun to play with! Honestly, this is one of the best mechanical examples of input randomness I've ever seen. Oh yeah, the game's really engaging too, the map is good and not one of those brain-dead StS clones, and the enemies actually give you reasons to not just spam the same action over and over.
