PINOY PRIDE <3 

the moment i started playing this game, i was immediately hooked. i just finished it today, right after getting back home. but when i started playing last night, i couldn't stop thinking about the game. i adore the artstyle! it's got a certain feel to it--like when you settled into bed and vow to read just one more chapter of the book you're hooked on. it's,,, nostalgic, to me anyways. 

i love how the game ties hugo's unknown backstory through the henry's story--you're lured by hugo's knowledge of something hidden about henry and nina's situation. the way hugo seems to know more than he lets on about otherworldly beings really gets the audience to theorize what's happened in this exhausted detective's past. 

the chemistry between noah and hugo was so nice to witness. you can tell that they're so comfortable with one another without breaking boundaries. they bicker and tease and react like they've been together for years (whether platonically or romantically, it's so heartwarming to see them interact with one another). love that noah is filipino! i'm so glad for this representation in such an amazing game. i can't wait for what you guys do next!!
