The proliferation of this kind of game on itch is frustrating to me, and this game is an example why. It's not that the NPC is unfair, that's the genre, but it's just that any time he does anything, it's so slow and you have to watch it every time. It makes it all feel sluggish and while initially that sluggishness sort of adds to the atmosphere and mood of the game, it quickly drains you. This wouldn't be a problem if the gameplay loop didn't clearly encourage multiple playthroughs. Even if the game did have sped up animations though, it would be a 3/5 at best. This is a blatant and worse iteration of the frequent spate of Buckshot Roulette derivatives.
