Poignant character backstories beautifully revealed through the "show but not tell" method. The pixel music & bgm/sfx perfectly capture the mood & add to the ambience. I like the foreshadowing & how the ending scene confirms players' suspicions about the overall context. Great puzzles too - just challenging enough to keep you hooked but not so hard that you have to refer to a walkthrough video or give up halfway!
