- A protagonist that keeps jumping between badass sarcasm machine and anxious with very little in-between
- A character whose personality is "Brazilian with broken English" and whose every line feels really unsettling to read
-A cast comprised solely of geniuses and utter idiots, and nothing in-between
- Point and click gameplay that only begins after several hours of reading which is... strange, but not unexpected due to the screenshots on the itch page and expectations of 999 going in
- Several "references" that feel very mocking toward the Zero Escape series... even though the novel is clearly inspired by it...
I'm sorry, but I have to be honest and admit I don't think I like it. Which is shocking after loving your previous works. Will keep reading though, the game is ambitious.
Quite liked the backgrounds, going with 3D was a smart choice. Soundtrack is also nice. Sprites got the job done well enough, most of them were quite good, but a slight few, like 8's body seems as if the anatomy is off a bit.
Would like to ask if it were possible to include the ability to turn the train's background noise down or off as an option? Right now it only works if you mute everything, but keeping sound effects and music would be a very welcome addition.
I wish you the best for development.
