wow! yikes! I can't stand Robin. She's insufferable! The gameplay itself isn't bad and the plot up to getting all four members is fine. My only specific gripes that I had with characters other than Robin are both actually just dev problems; when you ask the kid if his brother is single and then his care bar empties out - at that point, I'd rather kick him out and find a new member. If he's THAT BAD at handling ANYTHING regarding his brohter he's home-broken enough for HS, nevermind a band, so it just didn't make sense that he'd just so mad. I thought he was going to be grossed out by the idea of Robin liking his brother but the situation that actually happened was so much worse. The other issue - I couldn't keep playing after this happened - was when you decide that one guy at the party or just hang with no one, meanwhile the ONLY person I wanted to hang out with was Lovely Sir Ponytail (it's been a minute since I played this - I just couldn't hold this review in any longer) but he wasn't an option, but I'd done EVERYTHING that was possible up to that point and yet - despite the fact that blondie and I were enemies, in Robin's pov at least - literally 1 week ago HE'S got higher care bar? What??! that was my last straw

The actual management mechanics of the band situation are fine. But Robin as a character is just so horrible I want her demise. Like, I just want this to be a tragedy in which someone full of arrogance and entitlement just watches her life fall apart because of her and her efforts to prove to all the people that she wasn't the problem in her previous band was for nothing because she's the problem then and now in this one and the game to end with her just realizing non existent character she has and how unlikeable she is and just decides to change, end of game. anything less is just deus ex machina - and, the dialouge literally says exactly what she did that made the other band lose the scout. She's in the wrong. Period. No amount of strongheadedness means you're suddenly not a plague to everyone around you - and this girl definitely is. Honestly, I was tempted to give this game a 1 JUST because of her, especially since she's the main character, so honestly it doesn't speak well of what lies ahead in the rest of the game so I couldn't bare the idea of giving it a 3 so settled with 2. I can tell this have potential. But the mc needs a full upheavel first because - yikes. Just ... yikes
