I like the art assets a lot, and the atmosphere at the beginning was pretty solid. It seemed like a lot of research went into the history part of the game, which was fun to see. There were some small things at first that kept taking me out of the experience, like why was there food set out if the house's inhabitant was dead, and the text being misaligned with the lines on the paper.
The problem really started happening when the statue turned out to be a Weeping Angel type enemy. And then it immediately glitched out as soon as I went to the second floor and it tracked me downstairs instead. Took a lot of the mystique out of it.
I think there's a really interesting idea here, but I would have liked it more if the statue had done more subtle, interesting things than follow you around the house.
