This product has images that are exclusively AI generated, and based on the writing, that may all be AI as well. The verbiage is overly florid and lacks useful touchstones that make for a effective RPG supplement. I'm not making any concrete claims here but if you're not keen on reading this ~600 word review, you are not going to enjoy this ~60,000 word supplement.
The mechanics that are present jump wildly between notations from different editions of D&D, it lists "number appearing" right alongside "Legendary Resistance" and "SU" abilities in creature stats. All creatures lack "to-hit" modifiers and while many creatures are listed as spellcasters (such as the titular Cherry Witch), none have spell lists. At most you will occasionally see specific references to 5th edition spells, like Druidcraft.
The character options are wildly unbalanced, the spells do not list their casting time, duration, or other standard information. The character classes are massively out of balance, for example the Cherry Warden class gain two powerful mechanical features every level in addition to being a full spellcaster with access to both the Ranger and Druid spell lists. Across the board all class features are extremely complicated with each filling a half page, and adding a new and different "X-uses per long rest" type feature for almost every one.
The adventure follows in the same vein of the other sections with overly long descriptions that would become more of a stumbling block for DMs rather than a useful tool. Rarely does the adventure offer anything worth sinking teeth into -- numerous rooms feature "puzzles" that consist of nothing more than a vague description, e.g.:
"This room's puzzle centers on completing an unfinished potion [...] players must decipher notes [...] when correctly brewed will unlock a chest [...] small vials containing beneficial potions and dangerous concoctions are hidden [...]"
What specific actions must be taken to brew the puzzle potion? What can you offer the players for them to decipher as hints? How does the locking mechanism work and can it be bypassed? What sorts of other potions are scattered about? The text doesn't say any of this. Even if it would be just a skill roll to bypass some mechanism or trap, the adventure rarely offers a Difficulty Class. If it does they are clearly using skills from 5e with whereas the in-line stat blocks for minor creatures in the dungeon use notation resembling 1e truncated stat descriptions. If there is good content to be found in this adventure it will have to be half-built from scratch as the module is resting entirely on extended flowery descriptions and Read Aloud boxed text that often chooses the party's actions for them. And those purported "immersive maps" and "intricate dungeons?" Don't make me laugh - you'll find more detailed maps on a whiteboard flowchart.
The adventure has no suggested level which is for the best since the boss of the Cherry Witch's Lair appears twice in this supplement, once in the section of monsters where she is a CR20 spellcaster mixing 2e and 5e verbiage conventions (but notably lacking any spell list at all), and once in the adventure section, with 45 hp but no effective combat stats. The adventure insists she instead is supposed to offer a "lesson, not a punishment." However, if you wish for more depth here on her lessons, goals, or enlightened words, there is nothing.
The actual meat of this module and the supplement in general are are fine addition to the Cherry Witch's personal library: "full of artifacts and books with valuable insights into the dungeon's lore, the witch's past, rewarding players who take time to explore and ask questions."
What are those insights? What lore can be discovered? Come up with that yourself because there isn't much actually offered here.
