Blender Go Brrr rated Extraction Overheat

A browser game made in HTML5.

This is a really fun game. There's some really great balancing and then some slightly frustrating balance. The margin for error is razor thin which results in an experience that feels unforgiving, and when I was still trying to grasp the mechanics it felt unfair.

There's a great relationship between managing heat, mining resources vs. mining the ore (or whatever it is you actually get points for) and object position.

If the balance and timing were a bit more forgiving and gave the player a bit more time to build up it'd make those moments where I'm carefully determing what weapon to use when and how to squeak out a resource and avoid overheating feel truly rewarding instead of feeling hopeless when the next turn I'm practically overwhelm and all my stuff overheats to oblivion.

There are seriously all the parts here for a really great micro-strategy experience and I did 'one more game' my way through about an hour. The most ore I managed was 10.

Art style is fitting and unique. Sound is pleasant and provides good feedback. Would like to see a bit more effects with weapon use to give the UX a bit more juice. I think you could also get away with adding each device's heat meter by the health meter for easier planning.
