Why is this game using Unity? Yes, it's a versatile engine, but when compared to something like RenPy that has all the best features for a visual novel baked in, it's left to the developer to implement the usability features from scratch. In this case, it looks like that didn't happen.

My biggest complaint is that the story only appears about one sentence, two lines of text, at a time, making it irritating to read. I couldn't tell if it was that or the lackluster storytelling, but after about three minutes of this I gave up. Not worth looking at.
