The gameplay is self-limiting and incredibly formulaic. Enemy patterns are easy to recognize, so avoiding attacks is trivial, making the combat more of a chore than a challenge. Beyond that, the art is pretty good, though the terrain is overly simplistic to the point of looking out of place at times, and the sound is okay.
