tgoldxo rated Andromeda Six

tgoldxo rated a visual novel 2 years ago
A downloadable visual novel for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

I've been following this game for years and I keep coming back for a reason. The characters feel real, the storyline is compelling enough to keep my rotting brain occupied, and the character development never ends! This is where I fan girl with light spoilers:

When I first played A6, I was a huge June simp. He's such a sweetie with a heart of gold despite his pretty tragic backstory. I love reading about characters who had every reason to be a villain but choose to be a good guy instead. I can't wait to see how his story develops over time.

As time went on, I started looking at Damon, the mysterious black sheep of the team. The girls like him for a reason. I can't lie though—I was turned off by him offering to sell the MC off in the beginning (lol), but I absolutely love how his storyline has progressed from "morally grey bad boy character" to human being with flaws and interests besides knives.

Even as years passed, I kept coming back to the game. It's such a fun read! I decided to pick Bash one day, and of course I wasn't disappointed. He's by far the most likable character out of the A6 crew. So goofy, so inviting and fun without even trying. I want to be as cool as one day. And, his romance options are just *chef's kiss*, especially in the DLC.

But god. Calderon? Cal?? Whew. I spent years completely ignoring the Captain because his flirt options felt too forced. I self insert and there was no way I could see myself romancing someone as rude as him. There are too many rude men irl tbh. But now? I'm utterly and completely smitten by him. He's the guard dog that I never knew I needed. Fiercely protective of his loved ones, never backs down, and has the softest gooiest heart for the MC. Plus he's so damn big. I hope the MC is able to confront the "friends" who hurt Cal because he deserves to be protected, too.
