From what I understand this game was never originally going to be more than a simple animation. So that it has become as much as it is should be a testament to the praise and feedback garnered by fans of that initial animation. What we have, now, is more an experience than a game, as it is extremely quick vignettes that you effectively read once, then skip through as you select the different choices (each checked off after their first time being chosen, which isn't that useful as unchecked options exist past the initial check) and you gradually unlock a gallery of low resolution pictures or access to very brief animations as rewards for selecting new dialogue paths. Most often though you are rewarded with a lot of white text on a black background and an ending, leaving you to find your reward in a different menu. So this clunky system and inconsistent rewards combine to create a so-so experience that I am unenthusiastic to complete. At best this is a proof-of-concept that this developer has the talent to create something truly inspired if they so chose.
