Nice job with the title screen and the interface. I liked the art style direction, but certain aspects in the story wasn't really my thing, unfortunately. Although, for what you happened to create was quite remarkable for a month's work. The CGs were adorable and had a lot of charm.
It was cute that the characters in it tried to encourage keeping up their hobbies (cosplaying, anime/manga, etc) and not caring about whether or not they got viewed as childish by others. I think it was fairly sad that the Skye character started trying to pursue cosplaying professionally, but in the end, she started feeling like people were being ungenuine to her, and it in turn eventually made her feel off and insincere about her own interests and herself, because she was hearing the same compliments over and over by others. Plus, the self-doubt regarding whether people (or her so-called "fans," as she put it) even liked what she was doing, or even herself, for that matter.
It was certainly a depressing situation to find herself in after pursuing what she thought she loved doing... And she sadly started thinking that it wasn't worth pursuing, and felt weird when other people wanted what she managed to achieve. It was an unfortunate dilemma that Skye didn't want to be honest with the fact that she didn't recommend the route she took--because she thought she'd be misunderstood (and considered a jerk) by stating that to others, when she actually was just wishing in her heart to warn them that cosplaying wasn't as good a career path as she thought.
The message near the end (when you clicked the first option) about Skye wanting Anna to see the "real her" was cute. I also liked the line: "Preserving the things you love as along as you can is good and noble."
The work came off as very sincere because you depicted your characters with very real struggles and I could connect with the characters whilst reading.
Thanks for this very human and wholesome narrative. It was down-to-earth despite my first impression. I enjoyed it more than I initially thought I would when I started it. The ending was well done! <3
