Alex Bridge rated Liminal Gallery

A downloadable game for Windows.

GREAT PROJECT! Five stars.

This game had no need for a narrator or notes because it explained everything I needed to know through gameplay.

The game heavily limits what the player can do. You only have one camera, the picture, and the ability to rotate the photo.

But lord knows how many crazy things I somehow managed to pull off even under those limitations.

The weakest aspect in this entire game is the “horror”, but not for the reasons you might be thinking. I don't have a problem with the lack of a monster chasing me throughout the levels. I just wish it would take itself a little more serious. A little less ducks, perhaps?

But still, the real horror in this game is inside your mind; Was it always like that? Are you supposed to be there? Whose eyes were them? Who took the pictures on the walls?

Unfortunately, the game doesn't take itself serious. Which means that neither should you nor me take it serious.

Wasted potential? Perchance.
