Awesome Game! Took me a few rounds to stop killing myself with the controls. 

Just two suggestions: Maybe make the You're Dead fade out either shorter or skip-able (with a click maybe) it was a just tad annoying to wait thru. And maybe make it clear (in the how to play section?) how much the armor protects against. ( For example you can still get damaged by a 3 damage monster with 5 protection armor.)
